GURO KLEVEN HAGEN, VIOLIN

Grown in the beautiful, serene valleys of Valdres, Guro Kleven Hagen has become one of Norway’s most beloved soloists, appearing frequently with orchestra and in collaboration with other exciting artists. Her debut album with the Oslo Philharmonic features the G minor concertos of Bruch and Prokofiev, two pieces she chose for their intimate musical language. Guro is widely respected for her genuine, warm character and compassion towards everyone she encounters. She has a keen, sophisticated eye for beauty and truth, and plays the violin to share this with others. When she momentarily fears death on a turbulent flight, her greatest wish is to live longer to have the chance to be even kinder towards others.
