With both an American and Norwegian passport in hand, Victoria Putterman’s musical exploits have taken her to a broad spectrum of arenas all over the world. Known for her unique temperament, at once dreamy and dramatic, her intuitive ability to observe and communicate expression has taken the breath away from audiences and fellow artists alike. Demonstrating remarkable maturity and a sophisticated sound from a young age, her growth has been closely mentored by some of the greatest legends of our time, among them Itzhak Perlman and Ivry Gitlis. She often takes time away from the violin to engage in strange and unrelated activities, and is the brain behind the concepts and programs of the ensemble, spinning ideas and contributing to performances with her own poetry.
